Definition
A text document is like a page on a computer or phone where you can type words, stories, or your homework just like writing on paper.

A text document has a title at the top to tell what it’s about, words and sentences in the middle called the body, and sometimes pictures, with space at the sides called margins and a blinking line called the cursor that shows where you are typing.
